1. Service Description

Mr Haven ("Service") provides non-custodial timelock vault functionality on the Base Layer 2 network. The Service enables users to create automated transfer rules for USDC that execute based on time-based conditions or user inactivity. Learn how it works.

Mr Haven is not a bank, broker, custodian, or money transmitter. We provide software only and do not provide regulated financial services.

2. User Eligibility

By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

3. Non-Custodial Nature

Mr Haven is fully non-custodial. You maintain complete control of your funds through your own smart wallet. We never hold, control, or have access to your assets or private keys. All transactions are executed by smart contracts on the Base blockchain. Read more about our non-custodial design.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for (see our guide for details):

• Securing your wallet and authentication credentials
• Providing accurate beneficiary information
• Understanding how timelock rules work before creating plans
• Ensuring you have sufficient funds for any applicable fees
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Third-Party Integrations

If the Service is accessed through a third party, that party is responsible for onboarding and any compliance obligations it undertakes. Mr Haven remains responsible only for providing the software and on-chain execution logic.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Engage in money laundering or terrorist financing
• Circumvent economic sanctions
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

7. Fees

The Service charges fees as disclosed on the platform. Current fees include a 0.25% funding fee on deposits and execution fees that vary by plan type. Fees are subject to change with notice. See our Security page for complete fee details and risk disclosure.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS, ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MR HAVEN AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF FUNDS, DATA, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Smart contracts carry inherent risks. Only deposit funds you can afford to lose.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to provide the Service:

• Email address: Used for authentication and notifications
• Wallet address: Your blockchain address for transactions
• Usage data: Basic analytics to improve the Service

We do not collect government ID documents, bank account credentials, or other 'KYC-style' identity verification data.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

• Authenticate your identity and provide access to the Service
• Send transactional notifications (plan execution, claim alerts)
• Respond to support requests
• Improve and maintain the Service

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Privy: Authentication and wallet management
• Resend: Email delivery
• Vercel: Hosting and infrastructure
• Aave: Yield generation for deposited funds
• Chainlink: Automated plan execution

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Transaction records on the blockchain are permanent and immutable.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only:

• With service providers who assist in operating the Service
• When required by law or legal process
• To protect our rights or the safety of users

6. Your Rights

You may request to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and associated data

To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@mrhaven.io. We can delete data we control, but we cannot delete blockchain transaction records, which are permanent.
